Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mainframe Lead Software Engineer
(COBOL).
Key Responsibilities
Lead system enhancement efforts, designing test plans and
modifications within existing system architecture
Provide technical support for production systems, addressing
complex issues and ensuring functionality
Mentor associates, participate in special projects, and provide
24/7 on-call support for system issues
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in software application
development, or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of
experience
Proficient in COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, VSAM, and JCL
Preferred knowledge of Trade Finance Business Processes and
mainframe systems
Experience with System Life Cycle Development methodologies such as
Waterfall and Agile
Ability to be on call 24/7 on a rotating basis
