do:We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Architect with deep
expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations. This
individual will have a strong background in designing and
implementing ServiceNow solutions to support critical business
functions such as asset management, configuration management,
incident management, change management, problem management, event
management, and tool integrations. The ideal candidate will possess
comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow modules, be proficient in
development and configuration, and can prescribe and architect
solutions for complex IT challenges. This role requires hands-on
experience in building scalable and robust ServiceNow solutions,
ensuring best practices are followed in IT operations,
infrastructure management, and platform integrations.What we are
looking for: ServiceNow Architecture & Design:
- Architect and design scalable solutions using ServiceNow to
address ITSM and IT Operation's needs.
- Develop a high-level architectural framework for ServiceNow,
ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop ITSM related enterprise standards & patterns and get
them approved in Architecture Standards Board (ASB)
- Lead the development and configuration of key ServiceNow
modules, including but not limited to:
- Asset Management (HAM, SAM)
- Configuration Management (CMDB)
- Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- Event Management
- ServiceNow Integrations with other enterprise tools and
systems.ServiceNow Development & Customization:
- Lead and participate in the development, configuration, and
customization of ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Develop workflows, scripts, and integrations to support ITSM,
ITOM, and infrastructure management processes.
- Prescribe and implement solutions to complex problems by
leveraging ServiceNow capabilities and its extensibility.Problem
Solving & Solution Architecture:
- Serve as the technical expert and problem solver for issues and
requirements related to ServiceNow.
- Recommend and implement the best architectural solutions based
on industry best practices.
- Guide technical teams in resolving ServiceNow platform-related
challenges and advising on integration strategies.IT Operations &
Service Delivery:
- Align ServiceNow solutions with IT operations and
infrastructure needs to ensure high availability, reliability, and
performance.
- Collaborate with IT operations, security, and infrastructure
teams to optimize service management processes.
- Ensure that ServiceNow integrations with monitoring, security,
and event management tools support IT operations
effectively.Governance & Best Practices:
- Define, document, and enforce standards, guidelines, and best
practices for ServiceNow architecture, development, and
integrations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with
governance policies, regulatory requirements, and security
standards.Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Enterprise
Architecture, IT Operations, Security, Infrastructure, and
Application Development teams to ensure seamless service
delivery.
- Partner with business leaders to identify service management
gaps and design appropriate ServiceNow-based
solutions.Qualifications:
- 10+ years of IT experience, with a focus on ITSM, IT
Operations, and Infrastructure.
- 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development,
architecture, and configuration.
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow modules, including:
- Asset Management (HAM/SAM)
- Configuration Management (CMDB)
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- Event Management
- ServiceNow Tool Integrations (e.g., monitoring tools,
third-party systems).
- Proven experience in designing and developing complex
ServiceNow solutions that align with IT service and operations
processes.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Jelly,
Glide) and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM and Discovery for
infrastructure and event management.
- Experience with ServiceNow API integrations (REST, SOAP) and
integrating with other enterprise tools.
- Ability to develop strategic roadmaps for ServiceNow platform
development and enhancement.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of prescribing solutions
and leading implementation efforts.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with IT and business
stakeholders to meet organizational objectives.Preferred
Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified System
Administrator.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for one or more
modules (ITSM, ITOM, SAM).
- Experience in ITIL-based service management practices.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure platforms, cloud services,
