Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist with expertise
in the insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct innovative research and develop insurance-focused concepts
to enhance claims processing
Design and refine NLP models for extracting and summarizing
information from unstructured insurance data
Lead end-to-end machine learning projects, ensuring solutions are
scalable and integrated within existing systems
Required Qualifications
MS or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., AI, Statistics,
Computer Science)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing machine learning
models within a large insurance carrier
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in natural language
processing (NLP) related to insurance documents
Proficient in Python and experienced with relevant
libraries/frameworks (e.g., PySpark, TensorFlow)
Specialized knowledge in claims processing, underwriting, or
related insurance functions
