Your expertise will help drive the success of our operations and deliver high-quality products to our customers.Job Responsibilities- Operate and monitor food processing equipment to ensure efficient production.- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify and address potential issues.- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards.- Record and analyze production data for process improvement and reporting.- Assist in the setup and calibration of equipment for different production runs.- Implement quality control checks to ensure product consistency and quality.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during the production process.- Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and efficiency.- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the production environment.- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process effectiveness.- Train and support new staff in operating and maintaining processing equipment.- Ensure adequate inventory levels of raw materials and report any shortages. Job Requirements- High school diploma or GED; associate degree in food science or related field preferred.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations, including HACCP and GMP.- Proficiency in operating and maintaining food processing equipment.- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with processing machinery.- Familiarity with quality control procedures and testing methods.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and schematics.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, as required.- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with data entry and reporting software.- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning in the field of food processing.
