Position Overview:
The Construction Operations Manager oversees the company operations
by overseeing a team of project managers/supervisors/technicians
and directs the day-to-day project operations of the company.
Minimum 10 years of Construction Project Management experience in
Construction industry and a Bachelor's Degree in Construction
Science (or higher). Experience managing a crew of Project Managers
and overseeing $40MM annually in ongoing projects. Competitive

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
*Drives Business Results: Construction Operations Manager will
develop daily/weekly/quarterly operational plans, project schedules
and goals that achieve overall operational efficiency. Responsible
for directing the day to day activities of project managers /
subordinates to attain project milestones and goals, while meeting
or exceeding delivery schedules and budgets. Direct daily company
activities to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and
personnel.
*Leads People: Lead and mentor Project Management "PM" staff and
support teams. Supervise the hiring/ project staffing and the
development and retention of project teams. Work with Project
Managers, Project leads and other subordinates to set performance
goals, develop job skills and coordinate/schedule training. Review
the work of the Senior PM and PM assigned to project(s). Foster
strong teamwork alignment and be a resource for valuing and
promoting diversity. Trains and develops project personnel. Works
with senior level management to review personnel actions. may need
to revise nomenclature
*Financial oversight: Reviews and analyzes company expenditure,
financial, and operation reports to determine requirements needed
for increasing/insuring profitability. Coordinate with operational
personnel to insure total project(s) budgets are met. Manage all
aspects of contract administration, change requests, invoices, and
progress payments. *Maintain the project(s) deadlines, budget and
costs. Review with appropriate personnel the requisitions for
equipment, materials, and supplies within limits of project or
department budget.
*Business Ethics, Safety and Government Compliance: Enforces
compliance of personnel with administrative policies, procedures,
safety rules, and governmental regulations.
Mission Critical Tasks:
Office Management: Works closely with CEO to direct day to day
project operational staff.
*Finance: Work in unison with Chief Financial Officer to insure
that all procedures and policies are follow as defined.
*Project Management: Act as the main project operational manager
and main client contact for any work attained, including ensuring
timely, quality and cost-effective work. *Maintain effective client
communications. Direct and support the processes that coordinate
and manage field installation teams. Works directly with the
project management teams to setup policies and procedures that
support the financial objectives of the Company.
