Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant Buyer to assist the Buying
Team in driving optimal merchandising assortments to achieve sales
and gross margin goals.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure web merchandising aligns with planned product features and
maintains accurate product information
Track and manage samples and swatches from vendors, collaborating
with the creative team for timely product launches
Assist in developing and maintaining product assortments by
analyzing sales trends and implementing pricing strategies
Required Qualifications
Experience in Retail Store or Merchandise Buying, or
Merchandising
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and
PowerPoint
Ability to develop strong partnerships and negotiate with vendors
and internal teams
BS/BA Degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or Fashion
Buying
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamix AX- ERP system preferred
