• NIHSS required for Tele/Stepdown unit

  • Specialty: Float Pool (MS Tele/Stepdown) - 93
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Float Pool RNs needed to float between medsurg/tele and stepdown.

      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts for RN's - All 12's: 7a-7:30p; 7p-7:30a
      • CNA's - Only 8's: 6:00am - 2:30pm & 2pm - 10:30pm
      • Self-scheduling & blocked schedules allowed
      • 12 hr nights, weekends as scheduled, float pool position
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 1W MedSurg: 28-Beds (all private)
        • 2E MedSurg: 29-Beds (all private)
        • 3W Stepdown: 28-beds private
        • MedSurg patient ratio 1:6-7, Tele/Stepdown patient ratio 1:4-5 (If MedSurg acuity 1:6)
        • Must be able to titrate drips: Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, & Heparin. Insulin is only set-rate.
        • Nurses must be able to read & interpret tele strips.
          • Additional Details
          • Float Pool RNs must be comfortable with 'clean' & 'dirty' patients at the same time.
