Join Cleveland Clinic's newly built Mentor Hospital as aRegistered Nurse (RN) and become a part of Mentor's supportive environment where everyone excels and is valued for what they bring to the team. - - -Caregivers on Mentor Hospital's Med/Surg Unit maintain a broad skillset and care for a wide variety of medical and surgical patients. Our dedicated nursing staff works together as a team under the direction of our registered nurses to provide patients with the highest quality, and safest care possible. A caregiver in this position works -Days/Night Rotation, from 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am. -A caregiver who excels in this role will: - -

• Provide direct nursing care. -
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. - -
    • Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions. - -
      • Administer prescribed medications and treatments. -
        • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. - -
          • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs. -
            • Educate patients and their families. - - -Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - -
              • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. - -
                • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). - -
                  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). -
                    • One-year of current acute care RN experience. Will consider military RN experience. -Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: -
