Who We Are Copper Ridge Veterinary Clinic opened its doors in June of 2022 by Dr. Shanaberger and a small team of loyal veterinary technicians and medical assistants who had worked with the doctor for several years. Dr. Shanaberger is well loved by the community and by our clients for her clear love and compassion for the pets that come into our clinic. Although we are a small animal clinic, being in a more rural area we are given the opportunity to work with several different types of animals such as pigs, goats, turkeys, deer, and foxes so far! We never shy away from an opportunity to help an animal no matter what it is. We've become locally famous for our amazing staff, beautiful building, and empathetic bedside manner. We've also surpassed every local veterinarian in terms of social media followers, partially due to our three adorable clinic cats that have each become a micro celebrity. Spending any amount of time in our clinic will erase any doubt that each member of our team loves animals and treats each pet with the same level of passion with which they would show their own. What We're Looking For In just one year of being open, we've grown incredibly fast and we're now booking out weeks at a time. We're amazed and so thankful to be in a position where so many clients are being referred to us that we are able to look at expanding our staff. We're looking to hire a doctor who can match our doctor's passion and willingness to put patient care ahead of anything else. We are currently open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with one Saturday a month. With the addition of a second doctor at this location, we would be interested in offering extended hours for some of our clients who are unable to be helped by our current schedule. What We Offer Being a new clinic, we offer all brand new equipment including a radiograph machine, portable ultrasound, laser therapy, and more! We offer a large, furnished surgery suite, a desginated dental room, and a cozy recovery room! With most staff having been with Dr. Shanaberger for years, we truly are like a family here, as cliche as it sounds. It doesn't hurt that three members of the staff are actually related to the doctor! We are totally proud of our staff who share such synergy and are passionate about the care that they're able to offer our clients. Our staff also comes from a diverse background bringing unique skillsets to the table, such as one of our employees having her own Wildlife Transportation Service and another having her own Reptile Rescue!
