• Salary Range: $70 hourly
• Anticipated duration of assignment: As needed
• Anticipated schedule: 3x12 Days
• Enjoy peace of mind knowing you can elect Day One Medical BenefitsDaily Range of Responsibilities of the Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner:
  • Provide healthcare services to patients by following established standards, procedures and practices within Emergency Medicine.
  • Obtain detailed history and perform physical or psychological examinations.
  • Perform or order X-rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures, and interprets results.
  • Administer such therapeutic procedures as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
  • Provide physicians with assistance during surgery or medical procedures.
  • Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance.
  • Evaluate outcomes of direct patient care and consult with other specialists as required.
  • Maintain required records and write progress notes on patient charts as to status, treatments and procedures.
  • Provide preventative health care services to long-term patients and arrange consultations and referrals. Qualifications for the Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner:
    • Master's Degree in Nursing.
    • Active certification as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner by the AANPCB.
    • Active certifications: ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC.
