• Certification Details
• Chek, OhioHealth follows Ayas standards for NRP.
• CHEMO certification - required for Oncology RNs.
• EFM-NCC or AWHONN required for L&D.
• Travelers are required to submit fingerprints on the 1st day of orientation
  • Job Details
  • Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility OhioHealth Grant, 111 S Grant Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43215 to be eligible to apply.
  • Travel experience preferred
  • MS Tele unit, nursing ratios 5:1, can flex to 6:1 pending staffing (this rarely happens), RN draws labs
  • COVID patients on unit (RN provides primary care, ratio 3:1, rotation between staff to prevent burnout)
  • Most surgical patients (Ortho, GYN, Spine, Urology etc.), ED patients (ex: DM, COPD, Headache, etc.)
    • Job Requirements
    • 1.5 years of MS/Tele nursing experience
    • Must be able to read and interpret tele
    • Must hold BLS certification
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 3x12's Night Shift (1900-0730), every other weekend and every other holiday
      • Travelers are first to float
        • Unit Specific Information
        • RN provides primary care to COVID patients on unit, ratio 3:1
        • Most surgical patients include Ortho, GYN, Spine, Urology, etc.
          • Additional Details
          • APN Candidates: I-9 and E-Verify Attestation Form is required.
          • Hospice, Home Health, or anyone required to drive for their position: Requires a copy of driver's license with them at all times.
          • This does not expire for the client.
          • Of note, the 'date declared' on the form should be the date that the candidate began living in the state, not the date the form was signed.
