Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director, State Government Affairs to
join their Government Affairs team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop understanding of state legislative trends to inform the
policy agenda
Work with state officials on policy strategy and establish
credibility as a trusted expert
Manage team of state legislative analysts and oversee third-party
consultants
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of experience in public policy at
the state level
5+ years of experience in healthcare policy
5+ years of experience in state legislative staff or as a lobbyist
in health policy
5+ years of experience providing strategic counsel to senior
executives
Experience managing a function critical to business growth
