Location Greensburg, IN Job PurposeDrive characteristic improvement within assigned category through regional benchmarking/sharing, providing LO viewpoint for RO/GO strategy and NM activity, and specification confirmation for RO lead projects. LO(Local), RO (Regional), GO (Global) Key Accountabilities

• Characteristics Analysis – Data collection, benchmarking, best practice sharing
• Correlate LO/RO/GO strategy and NM development to include leadership of requested studies, project evaluations through E-plan, capacity/allocation studies and BP themes.
• Specification approval for RO lead projects
• Supporting other RO/GO study and/or data requests
• Supporting PE Genpo team activities: PEQ, OT, OLT, and Project Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering Preferred); or equivalent relevant experience Required Experience:
    • 3-10 years of relevant engineering work experience (focused in ST, PO, WE, PA, or AF category as applicable to job title)Desired Experience:
      • Knowledge and experience within the Honda business planning process
      • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project teams.
      • Business acumen in a technical environment Working Conditions
        • Flexible Work Hours / Schedule
        • Frequent early morning/late night meetings with GO (global office)
        • Estimate 5-10 Business trips per year may be required to support regional initiatives and improve overall efforts to improve standardization across the region. This activity may require short-term assignments at other Honda sites for 1-to-2-week periods.
        • Average 5-15 hours of OT per week
        • Weekend and holiday work may be required.
