Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Model Validation Manager responsible for managing the validations of Quantitative models to meet economic and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the independent review and validation of complex models, ensuring compliance with regulations
Participate as a subject matter expert on the Model Risk Oversight Committee regarding Model Validation activities
Build relationships across the organization to align priorities and resolve issues related to model validation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Master's or Doctoral degree in a quantitative discipline with 7 years of relevant financial services experience, including 4 years of managerial experience
In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 10 years of higher education and relevant work experience is acceptable
Demonstrated technical knowledge of advanced software packages used in analytics (e.g., SAS, QRM)
Experience in model development, model validation, and analytics
Knowledge of pertinent Bank systems and familiarity with relevant regulations such as SR 11-7 and SR 15-18 preferred
